Precious Metals Brokerage Group, LLC, is committed to maintaining our client’s confidence and trust, and therefore stands by the following privacy policy to protect any and all personal information you provide online.
BASIC CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY
It is our firm’s policy that personal information, such as client’s name, postal, e-mail address, or telephone number, are private and confidential. Therefore, the personal information you provide is stored in a confidential – secure location, and is accessible only by Precious Metals Brokerage Group Managing Directors & Account Executives. INVESTMENT CONSIDERATIONS – RISK FACTORS
The risk of forgery and counterfeiting are always present when purchasing rare coins and precious metals. As a result it is recommended that investors purchase their coins from one of the two industry leading independent coin grading services, either the Professional Coin Grading Service (“PCGS”) or the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (“NGC”). Both of these coin grading services are recognized for their superior expertise within the coin grading industry and ensure without question that every certified coin is authentic. Every coin sold by Precious Metals Brokerage Group has been graded by one of the grading services listed above. Precious metals Brokerage Group relies on these grading services for all of its coins and does not independently verify the authenticity of its coins. Accordingly, Precious Metals Brokerage Group disclaims any express or implied warranties otherwise attached to its precious metals inventory, including that the coins are merchantable.
THE RISKS OF GRADING COINS
The value of a coin is largely determined by the “grade” a coin receives from a coin grading service. Because each coin is graded in a subjective manner, the risk of acquiring coins that have not been independently certified by one of the leading independent coin grading services must be considered. The possibility of misgrading by a coin grading service or the assignment of a different grade to a coin upon resubmission is also a risk that must be considered. The guarantees provided by the coin grading services used by Precious Metals Brokerage Group provide protection against misgrading. Precious Metals Brokerage Group is not responsible for any of the service guarantees or for subsequent changes in the policies of PCGS and NGC. Precious Metals Brokerage Group also explicitly disclaims any express or implied warranties in connection with the grades assigned by PCGS and NGC.
VOLATILITY OF COIN MARKET
The precious metals market is subject to significant price fluctuations that can rapidly increase or decrease the market value of these investments. Investors should be prepared and able to assume the risk of such movements in price.
INVESTMENT PERFORMANCE
Precious Metals Brokerage Group does not guarantee the short- and/or long-term performance of any investments made. Precious Metals Brokerage Group is, however, prepared to assist investors with allocating coins in one’s portfolio or collection. Though, the ultimate decision to invest in coins, as well as the selection of coins to purchase, is solely at the discretion of the investor alone.
RARE COIN MARKET REGULATION
Currently, the rare coin market is a relatively unregulated market. That is, rare coins are not subject to ownership restrictions and also are exempt from some of the government regulations placed on other investment types. It should be made clear, however, that this is the current state of the market – it is always subject to change and the government can, at any time, impose restrictions and regulations. Furthermore, the benefits the rare coin market has experienced from the electronic coin exchange cannot be relied on or expected to continue.
BID PRICE
Precious Metals Brokerage Group welcomes the opportunity to purchase coins back from investors. The decision to make a bid on coins offered to Precious Metals Brokerage Group and the bid price placed on coins is, however, at the sole discretion of The Company. Placing a bid on coins is dependent upon Precious Metals Brokerage Group’s inventory needs, as well as the various market conditions constantly fluctuating the bid price in the marketplace.
