Three revised designs of the $10 Liberty Head Gold Coin followed over the next 69 years. The $5 Liberty Head gold coin was minted in 1839, and the $2.5 Liberty Head gold coin followed in 1940. The $2.5 Liberty Head had the least design modifications of all denominations. The $20 Liberty Head was minted in 1850 and was the last of the Liberty Head coins to be minted.
