The reverse side features a buffalo, facing left with its head tilted down. Above the buffalo around the top of the coin is UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Below this to the right reads “E pluribus unum” which is Latin for “Out of many, one”. Below the buffalo is the coins purity of .999 silver and weight of 1 oz.
